Looking for the next step in your educational journey?

Do you want to pursue a postgraduate degree abroad and apply for A levels at your chosen top universities?

Whether you have a clear vision of your future or are deciding which path to take, Maple Leaf Kingsley International School can help you make the right decision.

Studying for A levels is one of the best ways to prepare for college and a successful career. This program is ideal for students who wish to pursue their academic interests and develop key transferable skills such as communication, research, critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork.

    What are A levels?

An Advanced Degree or A Level is a pre-university qualification equivalent to other programs such as Australian Matriculation, Canadian University, and Malaysian STPM.

With over 55 courses offered in different groups, students have a variety of courses to choose from.

It should also be noted that the courses offered at the A level often include core courses that prepare students for college and provide them with the skills they need for higher education.

So whether you have a solid curriculum or are open to new opportunities, this UK qualification will give you a global foundation for your future.

What can I expect during the exam?

Students take the University of Cambridge International Advanced Examination (A) in two stages:

    1) Advanced Associate or AS degree (one year) with 50% of the total marks in each course.

    2) Level A2 (2 years), making up another 50% of the total marks for each subject.

Students who successfully pass the AS level proceed to the A2 level exams. For entry to universities, points accrual at AS and A2 levels are required.

Failure to pass the AS and A2 components will not result in a level certification.

    What courses should I choose?

When choosing A-level courses, it is important to consider your skills, interests, academic strengths, and professional interests.

At Kingsley, our commitment to offering a wide range of A-level programs allows our students to balance their personal passion and academic strength with their studies.
