1. Start the browser on your computer
2. Enter the IP address for the device

4. Enter the default password for your printer login
5. Navigate to the Admin tab
6. Now, enter a new password to your Brother device
7. If necessary, enter the password again
Click the Confirm button. Your Brother’s printer password has been changed. The new password is now available for the user to access the device.
How to reset your Brother printer password ?
You can only access your Brother printer with this password after you have changed the password. You can’t access your printer if you don’t know the password. People often forget if the password is not use for a while. It is quite common to forget the brother admin password. You will need to reset your password to gain access to the printer. You can’t retrieve your password if you have forgotten it.
To reset the Brother printer to its default setting and set a new password, the user must first change it. The Brother printer could be reset directly from the device. Use the arrow keys to select Reset Menu. Click on the OK button to navigate to the Network option. You will now need to click the Yes button for the device to start automatically. Connecting Brother printers to the Network
Before connecting the Brother to your Network, make sure the router is turn on. You can connect the printer to your Network if the router has a physical WPS Pin. The standard connection method is use to connect the printer to the router if the router does not have a WPS pin. If your router has a WPS pin, you can connect your Brother printer to the Network by following the steps below:
1. Switch on your Brother printer by connecting it to the wall.
2. Navigate to the Menu page. Select Network by using the arrow keys
3. Do not click on OK, but instead click WLAN
4. The WLAN enable window will open, and the printer will be set up.
5. The Brother printer will search the network name and list of networks available.
6. Click on the Network you wish to connect to and then hit the OK button
You will see the Brother printer connection wizard when the printer is connect successfully. Once the printer is connect to the Network, it will prompt you to install the driver. Install the Brother printer driver on your PC. Only devices that have the Brother printer driver will be able to send commands to the Brother printer. Once the driver has been install, locate the Brother printer in your Network and attempt to print the document.
